Our Approach
made in belgium
From an old soap factory in Ronse to the heart of Ghent
Since 2009, the Elisa Lee atelier has been located in an old soap factory in Ronse. There, a team of around twenty people with a passion for the craft works. In 2026, we opened a smaller, second atelier in Ghent, allowing us to offer even more custom-made pieces there. We deliberately choose to keep our entire production in Belgium: every piece of jewellery is handmade in our own ateliers. Our partners are also local, from all over Flanders and Antwerp.
This choice to work ethically and locally also gives us flexibility. We can respond quickly to orders and repairs, and offer a personal, in-depth service. Elisa Lee carries the Handmade in Belgium (HIB) label, which recognises authentic, artisanal quality products. We are also proud to be a premium partner of House of Weddings. This reflects our commitment to an honest way of making, with an eye for quality.
sustainable & reuse
Beautiful inside, beautiful outside
A jewel is only truly beautiful when you know where it comes from. That is why, wherever possible, we work with materials that are already in circulation: recycled gold, preloved diamonds and the old gold you bring to us to give a new life. There is plenty of beautiful material to work with, without new mining.
If we do use new materials, we only choose suppliers who guarantee that their metals and gemstones come from mines where the environment, safety and good working conditions are paramount, and where no child labour takes place. Our suppliers are certified by FLO-CERT and Fairmined and comply with the criteria of the Responsible Jewellery Council. Our diamonds come from conflict-free areas.
We design according to the cradle-to-cradle principle and make as much as possible ourselves in our atelier. This helps us minimise surplus and inventory, and keeps our impact as small as possible.
Service & expertise
Caring for each other, caring for you
We have been making jewellery for 25 years, specialising in bespoke pieces. Our team of around twenty people brings together very different backgrounds: from art history and colour advice to glassblowing and goldsmithing.
We support each other and distribute the work according to everyone's talents. We invest in training and personal growth, so that our studio remains a positive and healthy place to work.
We want to offer you that same care. We take the time for you, with personal attention and clear communication. From the initial conversation until long after your purchase.
